I love Gemini rice cakes. Now, they aren’t like normal Japanese rice cakes. They aren’t soft and chewy, they’re solid and crunchy. Now, what’s special about these rice cakes? Well, they’re basically a bread substitute, and they taste good with almost anything (except for sardine… ugh). So you can have them with nutella, nuts, fruit, anything you like. It is yummy, and healthy, with a lot less calories than bread. So let me show you three toppings to eat rice cake with!

  1. Peaches, nutella, and honey. You can have this without the honey, but I just like to have a little drizzled on there. So just take some nutella and spread it on the rice cake. hen take peach slices, I prefer canned or I got it in a jar from costco. I put three slices on and drizzled a little honey on. This tastes great, but make sure you eat them as soon as you make them, or else they get soggy.
  2. Peanut butter, jelly (or jam), and nuts. These are great, crunchy, and reminds you of a peanut butter jelly sandwich, which everyone loves. These have more protein than a normal peanut butter jelly sandwich though. Spread your peanut butter first so it doesn’t get soggy, then your jam on top. Now just sprinkle some nuts, like walnuts or almonds on top for more crunch.
  3. You can also make a mini pizza for yourself. More of a lunchables type of thing. Spread on pizza sauce, sprinkle some mozzarella, and if you want add toppings of your choice, but remember to cook all raw ingredients first because yo are not going to put these in the oven, but I guess you can.
